about

It's about time we started showing you what we've been working on in Portland, and brought out our new Pacific Northwest sound, so...here we are! It's the Crystal Furs, new and improved, rebooted and reborn. This new song is a melodic indie pop tune with lyrics that give you feels - so, yeah, still a Crystal Furs song through and through.

"Too Kind To Be Cruel" is a preview of the new sound we've been working on for our upcoming 2020 releases. We've got a lot more in store!

It's good to be back. <3

This single contains the standard stereo mix of "Too Kind To Be Cruel" plus a bonus mono mix of the song.

Track Name: Too Kind To Be Cruel
Frightened or anxiety
An answer only you can see
Living in the framework of the factory
Holding on to something new

Fact or fiction or fantasy
Who's the person you present to me?
Rushing headlong into calamity
I hope your aim is true

So let the rain fall down on the trees that line the street
Let the world pass beneath your feet
Don't let people take the good in the things you do
You're too kind to be so cruel

Write the things you'll say to me
Engaging in so much hyperbole
So unsatisfactory
Keeping count of what you do

Fact or fiction or fantasy
What's the product they try to sell to me?
Rushing off to the festivities
Searching for what's true

So let the rain fall down on the trees that line the street
Let the world pass beneath your feet
Don't let people take the good in the things you do
You're too kind to be so cruel
You're too kind to be so cruel
